Top records of IPL which nearly unbeatable

Indian Premier League is one of the entertaining leagues in world cricket. Along with I’d say is one of the toughest leagues in the recent few years. This short form of the game is all about “luck.” When everything depends on luck, there are obvious chances of getting less success but still, this league has given so many records to remember for a long time. Records are meant to be broken no one would deny from that but I’d say there are few records in my book which I think will be difficult to even go close. Not only this tournament has given us entertainment, but we have witnessed and seen the players turning out to be modern-day greats like Virat-Kohli. Who has thought about that this entertainment league will turn out to be player emerging for cricketing nations? IPL has given us some amazing records, like Virat Kohli scoring 5 centuries in a single season were on.

be broken, and surely many of these will be broken soon. But then there are
some bizarre records which are very unlikely to be broken. As we are going to
witness another season of fascinating cricket, here are 3 chronicles that could.
probably remain unbroken even after the season gets over.

Top Records of IPL from history books

#1 MS Dhoni win percentage in IPL

I’d say Dhoni’s win percentage as captain 60.11%. One of the successful captains in this league ever plays this game. No one would deny from the fact that ever from the start of “IPL” the team “CSK” is a fav of my fans like me. When they had the opener like Mathew Hayden in their team, damn this team was more destructive in those early years of “IPL” no matters players have been changed in the recent few years but they are best in the business to beat anyone in the world. For me, If I have to pick any team in the IPL from past 12 season, I’d pick the CSK 2009 squad skipper Dhoni, Raina, Flintoff, Murali, Albie Morkel, Hayden, Doug Bollinger, Mike Hussey, Justin Kemp, Makhaya Nitini, Thesara Perera, Jacob Oram to beat any team in the world.

#2 Prayas Ray Barman is the youngest player in IPL history

You have seen many of the established cricketers have flopped in the IPL, and some find it difficult to even find a spot in the tournament. Despite this, there have been some great young talents who were picked to play in the IPL like Sarfaraz Khan and Mujeeb Ur Rahman. And one of the newest ones is Prayas Ray Barman. This young talent has elevated many eyebrows when he was picked for a whopping 1.5 crores at the 2019 IPL Auction. If things weren’t already dream-like for the teenager, he was picked by Virat Kohli in his team against Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2019, becoming the youngest player ever to play in the IPL. He made his entrance at the age of 16 years and 157 days, beating the previous record retained by Mujeeb Ur Rahman who has represented Kings XI Punjab at the age of 17 years and 11 days.

#3 Chris Gayle smashed 175 in IPL

At last, the one who needs no introduction to know who is he. One of the greatest players in this short form of cricket is “Christopher Henry Gayle.” We have started knowing him by his knock of 117(57) against South Africa in this first match of T-2o format. The day which has changed the perception of many cricket fans that if you ever mess with this man he will show no mercy to you in the next few deliveries, no matter how big you as a bowler.

His one of the best knocks came up in the IPL 2013 where he has scored 175 runs in just 66 balls while hitting 17 sixes out of the park with 13 boundaries. After this knock many seasons have come up no batsman have even scored 150 runs or even with the strike rate, he had in that inning of 175. As a fan, I’d this is a most intact record to ever beat in this IPL league even in the future. Well, we hope we have to witness more knocks like those in the coming season too.
