Will WrestleMania 36 cancel due to coronavirus threats?

WrestleMania 36 is set to go on Tampa, Florida where there have been two reported coronavirus cases thus far. Coronavirus forced the cancelation of events all over the world to stop the spread of coronavirus.

WWE had held a meeting to discuss the coronavirus threat prior to Raw and discuss the events going all over the world. Stephanie McMahon also commented on this that WWE is monitoring the situation very closely.

WWE issued the statement below over the coronavirus threats. (Source – ESPN)

“The health and safety of our fans, performers and employees are our top priorities and we are monitoring the situation closely with our partners and government officials in Tampa Bay. We remain committed to hosting WrestleMania at Raymond James Stadium on Sunday, April 5, and like other entertainment properties in the U.S., there are currently no plans to cancel or postpone our upcoming events.

If the situation gets worsened than it is expected that WWE will hold the show for some time or cancel the event for 2020. Wrestling fans all over the global waits for WrestleMania every year and it will be a disappointing situation if it gets canceled.

We have to wait and watch the situation and hope for the best.
