Khelo India Youth Games 2019 are the national level games organised in India. It was the initiative by Indian government to promote games in India. It is being used to promote games at young age. Games were first held in 2018.
The Khelo India Youth games 2019 are of two main categories. Under 17 where school students participates and under 21 where college students participates. Games will be held between 9th January to 20th of January.
“Khelo India” means “Play India” in english.
Motto of these games
The main motto of these games were to encourage more kids to participate in sports activities. Indian government will provide scholarship to around 1000 youths in India from these games.
