WWE is a global sports company and it had featured wrestlers from more than 50 countries in the world. Many Indian wrestlers came to WWE and made their name. Here is the list of all Indian wrestlers featured in WWE. (List does not include any wrestler from other American or Japanese wrestling companies).
The Great Khali
The name “The Great Khali” is the most famous Indian wrestler in WWE. Khali didn’t need any introduction. At his peak, he was one of the most dangerous wrestlers on the WWE roster. On his memorable debut, he attacked the Undertaker and established himself as a monster in WWE. When Khali was at his peak, no other WWE Indian wrestler was on the roster.
Khali was not only famous in India but in other countries as well. His feud with John Cena and The Undertaker was a memorable one. Currently, he is working with his own wrestling promotion CWE (Continental Wrestling Entertainment) in India.
Jinder Mahal
Once Jinder Mahal was part of comedic group 3MB and then he made a change in his character. He made a dream physique of himself and impress WWE officials. It resulted in a WWE return and a long WWE Championship time for him. He won the WWE Championship from Randy Orton at the Backlash pay-per-view.
Jinder Mahal’s uncle Gama Singh was also a popular wrestler in the 80s. He is one of the top heels in the SmackDown Live brand.
Veer Mahaan
Veer Mahaan debuted in WWE RAW on April 4th, 2022 after a long wait of one month. He quickly dominates the RAW roster and attacked WWE legend Rey Mysterio. Before his television debut on RAW, he regularly appeared on live events.
Veer Mahaan originally debut in WWE in the NXT brand on 25th March 2020 as Rinku Singh. He was in a tag team division along with Saurav Gurjar. However, he appeared as Veer multiple times on RAW before.
Kavita Devi
Kavita Devi is a talented female wrestler worked in many independent promotions. She took part in Mae Young classic in 2017 and 2018. Unfortunately she was eliminated in first round in both tournaments. In 2017, she was eliminated by Dakota Kai and in 2018, she was eliminated by Kaitlyn.
However, she made her appearance in main roster directly from WrestleMania 34 where she took part in Women’s Battle Royal. She also wrestled in Khali’s promotion CWE in India.
Tiger Ali Singh
Tiger Ali Singh was not so famous wrestler in WWE. He mostly took part in short matches and worked in shows like Saturday Night Heat in WWE. After he left the company, he filled harassment case against WWE and both parties settled up things in court later on.
Jeet Rama
Jeet Rama debut in WWE at Live Event show in New Delhi, India. After impressing WWE officials, she started training in Performance Center. Currently he is wrestling in NXT Live event and ready to make a television debut in near future.
The Singh Brothers
Singh Brothers is a Indo-Canadian wrestling tag team. They are part of WWE with ring names Samir Singh and Sunil Singh. Singh Brothers helped Jinder Mahal to win WWE Championship from Randy Orton. They also helped Mahal to defend his championship against wrestlers like Shinsuke Nakamura and AJ Styles.
Singh brothers also participated in WWE’s Cruiserweight Classic tournament and Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic tournament.
Gama Singh
Gama Singh was a popular superstar from 80s. From 1980 to 1986, he wrestled in WWF (old version of WWE). He also wrestled for many promotions and internationally. He is semi-retired right now and signed a contract with Impact Wrestling in 2018.
Saurav Gurjar
Rinku Singh and Saurav Gurjar debuted in WWE under NXT brand on 25th March 2020. They were introduced in NXT by Malcolm Bivens. They attacked one half of NXT Tag Team champions Matt Riddle during the main event of the night. Rinku Singh was later renamed Veer Mahaan in WWE RAW.
