Last week on Raw, we saw some of the important matches and announcements for Money in the Bank PPV. Last week, Alexa Bliss announced male and female participants for respective Money in the Bank ladder matches. Seth Rollins and AJ Styles’ contract signing turned into a brawl last week.
Lacey Evans and Becky Lynch continued their rivalry last week and resulted in another brawl. We also saw the second edition of FireFly Fun House of Bray Wyatt and Shane McMahon & The Miz continued their rivalry.
This Monday WWE Raw will be live from US Bank Arena in Cincinnati, Ohio. Money in the Bank pay-per-view is very near now so we can expect a strong build up for the show this Monday.
AJ Styles heel moves
AJ Styles joined Monday night Raw in years after superstar shake-up. And then quickly earned the spot of number one contender for Universal championship. However, the brawl last week gave a clear indication that AJ Styles will go ruthless and path of Seth Rollins is not going very simple. Is this the beginning of heel turn for AJ Styles?
The match is the first time ever bout and to make things more interesting, WWE could turn AJ Styles as a heel. Therefore, it would not be surprising if the Phenomenal One turns heel on RAW next week.
Who will dominate Money in the bank match
Raw contenders for men’s Money in the bank ladder match Braun Strowman, Baron Corbin, Drew McIntyre, and Ricochet have nearly equal chance to win this year’s match. Last week they tried to prove themselves as the dominating force. Once again this week, we can expect another combination between these superstars in a match. Who will become Mr. Monster in the Bank this year?
Revival’s story
It looked like WWE punished The Revival last week after they refused to sign a new contract with the company. The Usos presented the footage last week where The Revival shave each other’s backs in the shower. Is there another humiliation segment ready for The Revival or they will seriously challenge the Raw Tag Team champions, Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins?
Will Mysterio challenge for US title
Samoa Joe defeated Rey Mysterio in a minute at WrestleMania 35 to retain his United States championship. However, surprisingly for Joe, Mysterio defeated him in a non-title match. It looked like a stage for a rematch is set and an only official announcement is left.
Lady vs The Man
The Man Becky Lynch has a double duty at Money in the Bank PPV. She has to defend her Raw women’s championship against The Lady of WWE Lacey Evans and SmackDown women’s championship against Charlotte Flair. The week after week we saw brawl between Lacey and Becky on Raw. Are we going to see another edition of a brawl between these two women?
Roman Reigns will not appear on Raw
Roman Reigns has the desire to appear on this week’s Raw and he expressed his desire through Twitter. However, WWE officials rejected this due to his obligations as a Smackdown Live Superstar. Things are not much clear right now for why this happened? Stay tuned for more updates.
