Diego Costa

Diego Costa was a goal machine in the English Premier League. After he was traded for £38 million in the 2014 summer season, he scored 20 goals in just 26 matches.

Following the next season, he scored another 12, and 20 goals. Diego Costa did 52 goals in just 89 matches in his Premier League career.

Chelsea won the Premier League two times in 2014-15, and 2016-17 in Diego’s time. He also won the Carabo Cup in 2015. His overall performance made him one of the best Spanish players in Premier League history.

  1. Xabi Alonso, Liverpool (2004-2009)
Xabi Alonso

Xabi Alonso had been watching him with grace, precision, and self-assured composure. He scored 14 goals in 143 appearances.

However, being a midfielder, the goal total will not adequately describe him. Rafael Benites’ created method has made him one of the most trustworthy performers.

He was the most important midfielder, serving as the game’s metronome. He was consistently positioned in defensive midfield to assist Steven Gerrard and Fernando Torres throughout the game.

The unit was the center of the Liverpool players’ universe.

  1. Fernando Torres, Liverpool, Chelsea (2007-2015)
Fernando Torres

The career of Fernando Torres with Chelsea was not very noteworthy, but he was one of the most significant players for Liverpool.

He was one of the most thrilling and explosive attackers in the history of the English Premier League, and he was one of the most prolific.

It’s amazing how many goals he’s scored in 102 games. He scored 65 goals in those appearances. His combination with Steven Gerrard was absolutely fantastic, and they came close to breaking the Premier League championship drought.

  1. David De Gea, Manchester United (2011-Present)
David De Gea

David is the first pick as goal-keeper on our list. He is a Spanish National team goalkeeper along with the Premier League, playing for Manchester United. He was considered the best goalkeeper on earth at that time.

By the way, he started with a shaky career in the Premier League. He needed 4 years to overcome and prove his potential in the league. He is currently one of the best goalkeepers in the Premier League.

His goalkeeping is sedative to the Liverpool fans. His goalkeeping made him one of the best Spanish players in Premier League history.

  1. Juan Mata, Chelsea, Manchester United (2011-Present)
Juan Mata

Juan Mata is an aggressive and attacking midfielder who plays in the Spanish National team and is currently in Manchester United.

By the way, as a midfielder, a few players can demonstrate their skills like Juan Mata. He assisted 36 and scored 31 goals in his 120 appearances till now.

Santi Cazorla

Cazorla had something more than the ordinary excellent midfielder, yet he was grossly underappreciated at the time. Arsenal scored 23 goals in his fewer than 100 appearances, which is a career-high.

A cool-headed, astute, and supremely skilled player at his position, he had complete command of the ball at all times. Most of the time, he was forced to play outside of his natural position, particularly on the left defense.

Otherwise, he might make better use of his talents in his current position by exerting more power and ability.
