Many records were created and many more broke IPL 2022. Jos Buttler scored 863 runs and become the second-highest run-scorer in IPL history. His record was only behind Virat Kohli’s huge 973 runs in the 2016 edition.
Yuzvendra Chahal has now taken the most wickets by a spinner in a season. He took 27 wickets. Hardik Pandya won his 5th IPL trophy as a player which is the highest in IPL history.
Riyan Parag (Rajasthan Royals) has taken the second-most catches (17) in a season. AB de Villiers grabbed 19 in the 2016 edition.
