ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 will be the 12th edition and takes places in England and Wales. It is scheduled between 30th May to 14th June 2019. England, India, Australia, South Africa, New Zealand, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh qualified for the tournament directly. West Indies and Afghanistan qualified through ICC World Cup Qualifiers last year.
Australia won the World cup for a record of 5 times. India and West Indies won 2-2 times each. ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 will be kick-off when the hosts England took South Africa on 30th May.
This year ICC introduced some changes and make the tournament as round-robin tournament instead of putting teams in different groups. Each team will play against each other at least once and the top four teams will qualify for semi-finals.
