WWE SmackDown comes to Canada at Bell Center in Montreal, QC, for the 19 August 2022 episode which will feature a big face-off between Undisputed WWE Universal champion Roman Reigns and Drew McIntyre.

Reigns & McIntyre Face Off

Roman Reigns will return this week on SmackDown for a segment with Drew McIntyre to promote their match at Clash at the Castle. McIntyre has been frustrated by Roman’s cousins The Usos as they have continued to interfere in his matter in the last few weeks. Will The Bloodline stand tall over McIntyre on the blue brand? Will Sami Zayn continue to get himself involved in The Bloodline’s matters?

Women’s Tag Team Tournament

The final match from the first round of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Tournament will take place on SmackDown this week. NXT stars Nikkita Lyons and Zoey Stark will come to SmackDown this week to challenge the tag team of Natalya and Sonya Deville. Will they succeed on their SmackDown debut?

The Viking Funeral for New Day

The Viking Raiders have taken down the New Day pair of Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods week after week ever since they have returned to SmackDown. The Viking Raiders will now host a Viking Funeral for them. Does Kofi Kingston have anything up his sleeves for the Vikings without Woods as he was injured by The Viking Raiders?

Liv Morgan vs Shotzi

SmackDown Women’s champion Liv Morgan has seemingly agreed to face Shotzi at SmackDown this week in a singles match. She tweeted about not being 100% but still claimed to beat Shayna Baszler at Clash at the Castle Premium Live Event. Morgan ultimately challenged Shotzi for a match to prove that she can still beat her despite her injury.
