India vs Pakistan Asia Cup 2023: India and Pakistan are all set to clash in another highly anticipated match of the Asia Cup 2023 tournament in Super 4 round. The two cricket giants will lock horns in the Super Four stage of the tournament on Sunday (September 10) at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo, Sri Lanka. An extra day of Monday is also added for this match.

1. Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill started with a bang and gave a wonderful start to India. Shubman Gill kept up the pressure from one end, while Rohit treated cautiously.

2. Slowly, both players started opening their arms and punished every Pakistan bowler brutally. Shubman Gill and Rohit Sharma smashed their respective 50s and placed Team India in a great position.

3. The first breakthrough for Pakistan came as Shadab Khan dismissed Rohit Sharma (56). Soon, Shubman Gill (58) also walked back to pavilion as Shaheen Afridi dismissed him.

4. The rain disrupted the India vs Pakistan match and the pitch is covered. Even after several rounds of pitch inspections, the umpires were not satisfied with the playing conditions.

5. The game began after much delay on reserve day due to the rains and Virat Kohli, KL Rahul took some to set. But, soon KL Rahul started the onslaught against Pakistan bowlers and Indian scorecard started moving fast. 

6. KL and Virat Kohli punished Pakistan bowlers left and right and both completed their respective half centuries. The players targeted Pakistan bowlers initially, but during the ending overs, even pacers were not spared. 

7. KL Rahul (111) and Virat Kohli (122) soon completed their respective centuries and Kohli even reached 13,000 ODI runs. Virat Kohli ended the innings in style with a massive SIX and India scored highest runs against Pakistan in ODI format. 

8. Bumrah and Siraj started the India’s bowling attack well. Pakistan openers were very cautious and then Jasprit Bumrah dismissed Imam-ul-Haq (9). 

9. Hardik Pandya provided India with biggest breakthrough as he dismissed Babar Azam (10). After some rain disruption, Shardul Thakur provided India with another wicket as Mohammad Rizwan (2) walked back to pavilion.

10. But then came Kuldeep Yadav who just crushed Pakistan batting single handedly. He clinched 5 wickets wonderful wickets and played a massive role in India’s 228-run victory.
