IND vs AUS 2020 – Shoaib Akhtar says, “I woke up and saw the score 369. I couldn’t believe it and saw the score 36/9”

The former Pakistan Speedstar Shoiab Akhtar was completely shocked to see the absurd batting performance of team India during the second innings of Adelaide test when they have registered the lowest ever total of 36 runs in the Indian Cricket History and pointed out that team India has one of the best batting line-ups in the cricketing world at present.

Shoiab Akhtar termed this performance as complete “unacceptable” or “clueless” from the kind of hype and standard set by the team India in the world cricket. Shoaib Akhtar further added I couldn’t believe what has happened I thought it was 369 but I was wrong it was 36/9 before Mohammad Shami was retired hurt. There has to be no explanation after this disaster performance.

In his video that Shoiab Akhtar has posted on his YouTube channel he has used some of the typical Punjabi languages while saying “Joh Phenta Lagya India ka” and reckons team India deserved such a setback.

I woke up and the morning and switched on the TV. Could not see the match yesterday night. I saw India had put 369 on the board. Then I rubbed my eyes and saw carefully, I saw it’s 36 and there is slash before 9 and one is retired hurt. Embarrassing loss. Embarrassing batting. The mighty Indian batting came crumbling down,”

Shoiab Akhtar takes a dig at the team India lowest ever total of 36 for surpassing our lowest total of 53 and 59 against Australia. I still remember the whole world went against us and criticized us for the terrible performance against Australia who had the likes of Glenn McGrath, Brett Lee, and Shane Warne.

Players of team India are very fortunate that they didn’t play in an era of Wasim Akram, Waqar Younis, Glenn McGrath, and Brett Lee where reverse swing had started straight after the 10 overs, not like the 40 overs in modern-day cricket. These modern-day rules and trunk sized bats giving advantages to a batsman to make any records from the previous era.

I am saying give such type the restriction to the players like Ricky Ponting or someone like Rahul Dravid in this era they will show the unreal records to the world with their sheer class. This performance will be remembered for a very long time and team India has face criticism after they have fallen like nine pins against the mighty Australia pace attack.

They broke our record also. 36 all out! This is disgraceful performance, it’s terrible. But happiest that they broke our (Pakistan’s) record. Anyways, this happens in cricket. Bare it and bare the criticism, this is going to happen to you now. So, mighty India come crumbling down. This is bad news,”

Akhtar said.

When we were all out for 53, we faced Shane Warne, Glenn McGrath, Brett Lee… it was a long and sturdy bowling line-up. Be thankful that isn’t the kind of bowling batting line-ups are facing.”

Akhtar added.
