AEW Revolution 2020 match card and predictions

AEW Revolution 2020 is scheduled to happen on 29 February. It will mark another big pay per view presented by All Elite Wrestling. Below is the updated card for the show.

Chris Jericho (c) vs Jon Moxley – AEW World Championship

Moxley defeated PAC at “Chris Jericho’s Rock ‘N’ Wrestling Rager At Sea Part Deux: Second Wave” to become the number one contender for AEW World Championship. The rivalry between Jericho and Moxley for the top prize of AEW become personal when Jericho and gang targeted Moxley’s eye. Chris Jericho is best in the business in terms of storytelling and giving promos.

MJF vs. Cody Rhodes

Cody Rhodes and nemesis Maxwell Jacob Friedman were the centerpieces of arguably All Elite Wrestling’s most powerful segment since debuting “Dynamite” on TNT last year. Rhodes needed to take a full 10 lashes from a belt as part of the checklist of stipulations MJF laid out in order for Rhodes to earn a match against him at the Revolution. MJF was the man responsible for costing Cody any future shot at the AEW world championship at Full Gear. This match is going to be very personal and AEW did very right approach to make this match must watch.

Jake Hager vs. Dustin Rhodes

It will mark the “The Big Hurt” Jake Hager’s first match since signing with AEW in October 2019. This week Dustin Rhodes issued a challenge against Jake Hager for a match after defeating Sammy Guevara. Rhodes called him a failure in MMA and AEW. Now, the two WWE veterans will face off at the next PPV.

Nyla Rose (c) vs Kris Statlander – AEW Women’s championship

Kris Statlander became the number one contender for AEW Women’s world championship after seemingly through recent victories over Diamante, Shanna, and The Nightmare Collective.

Hangman Page and Kenny Omega (c) vs. The Young Bucks – AEW World Tag Team Championship

The Young Bucks earned the shot through a tag team No. 1 contender battle royal on Dynamite. Page and Omega won a four-way match to become No. 1 contenders to the tag titles before defeating SCU to win the titles in the first title change in AEW history. In terms of match quality, this match is in the race to become a match of the night contender at the show.

Darby Allin vs. Sammy Guevara

The match become official after the returning Allin challenged the Inner Circle man Sammy Guevara on Dynamite. Darby Allin was out of action for several weeks after the Inner Circle beat him down with his own skateboard.
