Money in the Bank 2020 match divided the fans. After the success of Boneyard match and Firefly Fun House matches, WWE tried another cinematic match “climb the corporate ladder” that starts from ground floor of Titans tower and ended up grabbing the briefcase from the roof.
Otis and Asuka won the match. The main event match was something different. We saw number of cameos, easter eggs, and other surprises crammed into its 27 minutes. Here is the list of all the cameos from the match in an order.
#1 Brother Love
WWE loves toilet humour. When Rey Mysterio stumbled into a bathroom we saw Bruce Prichard, who reprises his Brother Love gimmick. It was just the beginning of some upcoming surprising cameos for the night.
#2 Doink The Clown (May be….)
To be honest the man we saw last night was not original Doink the Clown but he appeared just after Bryan finished with YES kicks onto Corbin and Otis finished with his YES chants.
#3 Stephanie McMahon
Stephanie McMahon’s cameo came after Dana Brooke had unhooked a see-through Money in the Bank briefcase from a meeting room’s ceiling. For the some time, Brooke actually thinks she won the match. McMahon reminded her that original briefcase is at the roof and also ordered her to clean up the stuff. (Nia Jax was also lying on the floor LOL).
#4 Paul Heyman
Here comes Paul Heyman. Heyman was about to get his hands on his food but before that bunch of male and female superstars reached there. Otis saw the food and started the food fight. WWE LOVES FOOD FIGHT.
#5 John Laurinaitis
After the food fight, we saw Otis reached another small cafeteria but he was not alone. The former RAW General Manager John Laurinaitis met Otis there and reminded us old “People Power”. However, Otis leaves the area after hitting with a devastating cream pie to the face of Laurinaitis.
#6 Vince McMahon
OK so not the last but not the least. It was non other than WWE chairman himself. AJ Styles and Daniel Bryan crashed into Vince’s office during the match. In this hilarious segment we saw Styles and Bryan stop fighting after seeing Vince in the office. Ending of this mid match segment saw Bryan and Styles quickly to put the chairs they’d displaced back where they belong.
Overall Money in the Bank 2020 match was entertaining stuff.
