WrestleMania 37 is still months far but WWE wants to make it a big show anyhow in 2021. Due to COVID-19, WWE was forced to move WrestleMania 36 to Performance Center.
The Show of Shows will take place at the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida, on March 28, 2021, as per the latest plans. WWE wants possible blockbuster matches and returns for the show.
Here are top superstars who are expected to return for WrestleMania 37.
5 WWE Superstars who are expected to return for WrestleMania 37
#1 Edge
WWE Hall of Famer Edge returned to the wrestling ring at Royal Rumble 2020 after many years. It was a big moment for every WWE fan. Edge went on to have a heated rivalry with former tag team partner Randy Orton and defeated him at WrestleMania 36.
However, Edge suffered an injury during the rematch against Randy Orton and was out for rest of the 2020. Rumors are there that he will be back during the WrestleMania season of 2021. There are many opponents like AJ Styles, Daniel Bryan, Roman Reigns who are waiting for him.
#2 Becky Lynch
Former WWE Women’s Champion Becky Lynch has been out of action for a while now and is expecting a baby by the end of the year. WWE is expecting her to return in March 2021 for a WrestleMania match. The blockbuster match against Ronda Rousey could be a huge attraction for the show.
Ronda Rousey lost the RAW Women’s title to Lynch in the main event of WrestleMania 35 also including Charlotte Flair. Lynch vacated her belt after Money in the Bank 2020 and took a hiatus due to her pregnancy. March 2021 will be the best time for the Man to be back at least for a WrestleMania match.
#3 John Cena
According to the rumors, WWE is planning something for 16 times world champion John Cena.
You know come WrestleMania season they’re gonna talk to John Cena and they’re gonna talk to Undertaker. I mean it’s just how it is no matter what they say now. A lot of times those guys come back.

John Cena took on Bray Wyatt in a Firefly Fun House match at WrestleMania 36 and he could do something the same next year as well. Worth noting that Cena is a major Hollywood star now.
#4 Charlotte Flair
Charlotte Flair took hiatus from WWE after losing NXT Women’s Championship match. She is currently one of the biggest WWE female star. Charlotte Flair has huge impact on WWE programming and she also won this year’s Royal Rumble match.
Fans can expect her to back to full time to WWE during road to WrestleMania 37. She could be huge contender to win back to back Royal Rumble matches as well. However, time will tell what WWE has in their store for Charlotte Flair.
#5 The Rock
Roman Reigns is currently the biggest heel in all of WWE. He is the current Universal Champion on WWE SmackDown. The Rock vs Roman Reigns will be the biggest eye attraction WWE could do next year.
The current storyline with Roman Reigns is certainly pointing towards the possibility of an eventual showdown with The Rock, which, by the way, The Great One approves of. Reigns could continue his path of destruction for months on end and finally, take on The Rock at WrestleMania in one of the biggest matches of this era.
It will be interesting to see how WWE manages if it happens.
