WrestleMania 35 is also called The Show of shows and the grandest stage of them all. It is unarguably the biggest show of the year not only for WWE and also for the wrestling world. The official road to WrestleMania 35 was started back on Royal Rumble when Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch won their respective Royal Rumble matches.
WWE WrestleMania 35 match card will now be solidified after Fastlane 2019 pay-per-view. WWE does not announce all matches for the show yet as the matches are building up right now. However, some of the matches have been announced.
Alexa Bliss will be the official host for WrestleMania 35.
Following are the WrestleMania 35 matches announced so far by WWE.
Brock Lesnar (c) Vs Seth Rollins for Universal Championship
The match was officially announced at Raw after Royal Rumble but a clear picture of this match was made at night before at Royal Rumble pay-per-view. Seth Rollins won Royal Rumble match and become number one contender for the Universal Championship against Brock Lesnar.
The build-up for this match is slow but with some great promos by Seth Rollins and Paul Heyman, this will gonna flow above the expectations from fans. Seth Rollins is favorite for this match to dethrone Brock Lesnar from his title reign.

Ronda Rousey (c) Vs Becky Lynch Vs Charlotte Flair for Raw Women’s Championship
The story for this match was begun before the Survivor Series pay-per-view. It was the first time when Becky Lynch who was SmackDown Women’s champion at that time crossed paths with the baddest woman on the planet Raw Women’s champion Ronda Rousey.
However, when Becky was injured, the match between Ronda Rousey and Becky Lynch was canceled and Charlotte Flair took Ronda in the match. The bitterness between these three women increased day by day when Ronda costs Charlotte and Becky SmackDown Women’s championship at TLC against Asuka.
Back in January, Becky won Royal Rumble match choose Ronda Rousey as her opponent. However, when Becky injured on the hands of Ronda on RAW, the McMahon family interfered in this and choose Charlotte as Ronda opponent. At Fastlane, PPV Becky defeated Charlotte by disqualification after Ronda Rousey interfered and the match become triple threat match for WrestleMania 35.
On SmackDown Live, Charlotte won SmackDown Women’s championship from Asuka and now match become winner takes all.
Batista Vs Triple H in No Holds Barred Match
Ground for this blockbuster match was made during SmackDown Live 1000 last year during Evolution reunion. The Animal Batista reminded The Game that he never defeated him one on one in the ring.
However, everyone was silent after this incident. On 25th February edition of RAW, fans were waiting for Ric Flair to join Triple H and others in the ring for his birthday celebration. But Flair didn’t appear and the camera was cut to backstage where we saw Batista entering in Flair’s locker room. Batista beat down Triple H and asked him will he got his attention now?
On RAW 11th March, the match between these two legends was official when The Animal appeared and asked for the match. Triple H accepted the challenge and made the match as no holds barred no disqualification match. Triple H put his career on the line in this match.

The Miz Vs Shane McMahon
At Fastlane 2019, Shane McMahon attacked his tag team partner The Miz after they lost the SmackDown tag team championship match. On SmackDown 12 March, Shane opened the show announced that he is best in the world right now. After that, he said beating up The Miz in front of his dad gave him a rush and he will again do this at WrestleMania 35.
Daniel Bryan (c) Vs Kofi Kingston for WWE Championship
After many weeks, finally, the torturous journey ended finally for Kofi Kingston on SmackDown Live 26 March. He earned the spot finally when his stablemates Big E and Xavier Woods won gauntlet match.
Big E and Woods defeated The Good Brothers first then Shinsuke Nakamura and Rusev. The Usos forfeited their spot out of respect. Daniel Bryan and Erick Rowan were the last opponents. Big E upended the commentary desk on Rowan to get the count out victory. A week before this, Vince McMahon put Kofi in the same position by forcing him to take top SmackDown Live superstars in a gauntlet match. Kofi lost in the end when Bryan came as last entry in the match and defeated tired Kofi.
Randy Orton Vs AJ Styles
The match between these two legends was rumored from very long. AJ Styles attacked Randy Orton at Fastlane 2019 and fueled the slow-burning story between them. On SmackDown Live 12 March, AJ, and Orton mocked each other. Styles challenged Orton for a WrestleMania 35 match but Orton didn’t accept. However, 2 days later WWE officially announced the match between them at the show of shows on 7th April.
Kurt Angle Vs Baron Corbin
Kurt Angle chooses Baron Corbin as his opponent for his “Farewell Match” on Raw 18th March. The feud between them was very long. Angle was General Manager of Raw and Corbin was selected as constable of Raw. Corbin was the reason why Angle was fired from General Manager post. Angle and Corbin were engaged in many promo fights and beatdowns for the last 6 months. As announced earlier by Kurt Angle, this will be his last match in WWE.
Samoa Joe (c) Vs Rey Mysterio for the United States championship
Samoa Joe won the United States Championship during one of R-Truth’s ‘US Open Challenges‘. A week ago, Rey Mysterio pinned Samoa Joe in a non-title match. However, during 19th March edition of SmackDown Live, he announced himself as Samoa Joe’s opponent for WrestleMania 35.
Buddy Murphy (c) Vs Tony Nese for Cruiserweight championship
Tonu Nese won 8 men tournament to become number one contender for Cruiserweight title. He defeated Cedric Alexander in the final. Back on February 26th, Drake Maverick revealed that Buddy Murphy would defend his Cruiserweight Championship at WrestleMania.
Roman Reigns Vs Drew McIntyre
Drew McIntyre defeated two members of the Shield, Seth Rollins, and Dean Ambrose in two straight weeks. However, he opened a challenge to the Big Dog Roman Reigns for a match at WrestleMania at Raw 18 March. On Raw 25 March, Reigns hit the ring and accepted McIntyre’s challenge.
Bayley & Sasha Banks vs. Beth Phoenix & Natalya vs. The IIconics vs. Tamina & Nia Jax for Women’s Tag Team Championship
The Ilconics defeated The Boss N Hug Connection live on SmackDown and became front runners to become number one contender. Nia Jax and Tamina attacked Beth Phoenix at Fastlane PPV after losing tag team titles match. Later on, Phoenix announced that she is coming out from retirement for Women’s tag team championship.
The current champions Bayley and Sasha Banks announced that they will face all these three teams following a brawl with the Divas of Doom and Nia Jax/Tamina.
Bobby Lashley Vs Finn Balor
The match was expected but confirmed very late. The match was confirmed after Balor defeated Lashley and Jinder Mahal in a handicap match. Number one contender stipulation was behind this match. Rumors are suggested that ‘The Demon‘ will return in New York.
The Revival Vs Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder for Raw Tag Team championship
Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder once again reunited to take current Raw Tag Team championship The Revival for the titles.
Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania 35
