WWE NXT TakeOver Schedule 2019

NXT TakeOver series have become one of the hottest shows in the wrestling industry over the years. WWE’s developmental brand has actually takeover many big shows from the WWE main roster. In the last two years, WWE made some changes in NXT TakeOver show timings. It happens just a night before main WWE pay-per-view.

It was all started in back 2014 when the first NXT TakeOver was presented by WWE from Full Sail University at May 29th. The show was main-event by Adrian Neville (c) vs Tyson Kidd for the NXT Championship. In 2019, WWE introduced NXT UK pay-per-view as well.

Below is the updated list of all WWE NXT TakeOver schedule from 2019.

NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool

Date and location- January 12th, 2019 at Empress Ballroom, Blackpool, United Kingdom.

This was first ever pay-per-view for WWE NXT UK brand. It was main-event by Pete Dunne (c) vs Joe Coffey for WWE United Kingdom Championship.

NXT TakeOver: Phoenix

Date and location- January 26th, 2019 at Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix, Arizona.

The show was one night prior to Royal Rumble show. It was main-event by Tommaso Ciampa vs Aleister Black for the NXT Championship.

NXT TakeOver: New York

Date and location- April 6th, 2019 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

The show was one night prior to WrestleMania 35. It was main-event by Johnny Gargano vs Adam Cole for the NXT Championship.

NXT TakeOver: XXV

Date and location- June 1st, 2019 at Webster Bank Arena in Bridgeport, Connecticut.

The show was a special 25th show for NXT TakeOver series over the years. This special show was main-event by the rematch between Adam Cole and Johnny Gargano for the NXT Championship.

NXT TakeOver: Toronto II

Date and location- August 10th, 2019 at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario.

The show will be one night prior to Summerslam PPV. No matches have been announced so far for the show.

NXT UK TakeOver: Cardiff

Date and location- August 31st, 2019 at Cardiff, Wales.

This will be second ever PPV for NXT UK brand after Blackpool show. NXT UK brand under the guidance of Triple H is expanding very well as expected by WWE.

NXT TakeOver: War Games III

Date and location- November 23rd, 2019 at Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois.

This will be the third edition of War Games in WWE. In 2017, War Games was main-event by SAnitY (Alexander Wolfe, Eric Young, and Killian Dain) vs. The Authors of Pain (Akam and Rezar) and Roderick Strong vs. The Undisputed Era (Adam Cole, Bobby Fish, and Kyle O’Reilly) in a WarGames match. While in 2018, it was main-event by Pete Dunne, Ricochet, and the War Raiders vs. The Undisputed Era (Adam Cole, Bobby Fish, Kyle O’Reilly, and Roderick Strong) in a WarGames match.
