List of all wrestlers announced for AEW wrestling roster till now

Unexpected to WWE, many huge names signed for AWE (All Elite Wrestling) so far. AEW wrestling roster had become somehow strong to present a wrestling show in front of fans. AEW’s owner Tony Khan is approaching to many big names of the industry to offer a big contract in their promotion.

AEW’s rally “Double or Nothing” had many big superstars and now WWE needs to worry about it. WWE also banned AEW merchandise in their building during SmackDown Live tapings. Let’s take a look at all signed wrestlers so far for AEW roster. (Image source – Getty Images)

Kenny Omega

Kenny Omega signed with All Elite Wrestling during Double Or Nothing ticket announcement party. It is also announced that he will serve as Executive Vice President in AEW. He is interrupted by Chris Jericho during his speech in the Double Or Nothing ticket announcement party.

Pentagon and Rey Fenix

The Lucha Brothers also signed with All Elite Wrestling. They attached Matt and Nick Jackson during the Double Or Nothing ticket announcement party when they were leaving from the stage.

Other wrestlers announced during Double Or Nothing ticket announcement party-

  • Sonny Kiss (Former Lucha Underground wrestler and manager)
  • Sammy Guevara (Mexican Lucha Libre promotion AAA star)
  • Best Friends (Trent Beretta and Chuckie T)
  • Yuka Sakazaki (Japanese wrestler)
  • Aja Kong (Japanese wrestler)
  • Kylie Rae (Popular Indie wrestler)
  • Nyla Rose (Also known as The American Kaiju)

Cody Rhodes

Cody is a part of the Elite group and will join AEW as an active wrestler and will also share behind the scenes roles. Member of Elite group like Young Bucks, Adam ‘Hangman’ Page also singed with AEW. Top wrestlers like Marty Scurll and Kenny Omega‘s status is still uncertain.

The Young Bucks

One of the popular tag team never joined WWE is also singed with AEW. As a part of Elite group, they joined Cody and Adam ‘Hangman’ Page as active wrestlers. They will also share behind-the-scenes responsibilities.

Adam ‘Hangman’ Page

In AEW rally, Adam indicated that he will become first ever All Elite Wrestling champion. He was interrupted by someone special mentioned later in the list. The competition will be high in AEW with Adam’s involvement.

Chris Jericho

Chris Jericho was the biggest name signed by All Elite Wrestling so far. He arguably the most famous wrestler right now on the planet. Jericho had a huge fan base and to respond to Jericho, WWE moved him to Alumni section of roster today.

Brandi Rhodes

Cody’s wife Brandi was announced as a chief brand officer for AEW. Her wrestling skills were increased in 2018 and you will expect her to wear her wrestling boot again in All Elite Wrestling ring.

PAC

This name doesn’t need any introduction. He wrestled in WWE as Navile and now returned to independent wrestling again in 2018. He is currently the Dragon Gate champion. His confrontation with Adam ‘Hangman’ Page at AEW rally was the just beginning of a big war.

‘The Bad Boy’ Joey Janela and Penelope Ford

Janela stole the show All In and after the announcement of the launch of AEW, it is expected that he will join the promotion. Janela also cemented himself as the bad boy of independent wrestling. Penelope is his partner and she also signed with AEW.

SoCal Uncensored

The group SoCal Uncensored is a big name in Ring of Honor and now they are under contract with AEW. The group of Christopher Daniels, Frakie Kazarian, and Scorpio Sky are very talented and they will increase the standard of wrestling in AEW.

Britt Baker

Her partner Adam Cole is currently enjoying his time in NXT and it is widely expected that she will join WWE in the future. But to giving a shock to everyone she joined with AEW as the first women wrestler for the promotion.

Stronghearts

A group of talented wrestlers like Duan Yingnan, El Lindaman, Gao Jindgjia and others joined AEW. They are currently wrestling in Oriental Wrestling Entertainment.

Big superstars debut at Double or Nothing PPV.

Jon Moxley

Jon Moxley (Dean Ambrose from WWE) debut in AEW by interrupting the main event between Kenny Omega and Chris Jericho. He flings The Cleaner Kenny Omega off the elaborate poker chip set to the floor below.

Dustin Rhodes

He was announced before the show during Road to Double or Nothing. He fought against Cody Rhodes in one of the bloodiest matches in recent time. Their match was considered as the match of the night.
