List of all Elimination Chamber winners in WWE History [2022 updated]

Elimination Chamber is one of the WWE’s most famous and dangerous structures. The popularity of Elimination Chamber matches never decreased since 2002. Till 2008, WWE had presented 22 chamber matches in different pay-per-views. These matches are so popular that WWE even hosted annual PPV with the same name.

Triple H is the most successful Elimination Chamber winners with total 4 victories. Last year in 2018, WWE presented their first ever all women Elimination Chamber match and in 2019, WWE is going to crown first-ever women’s tag team championship from Elimination Chamber match.

Here is the list of all Elimination Chamber winners in WWE history.

1 – Shawn Micheals

This was the first ever Elimination Chamber match held in Survivor Series 2002. Micheals defeated Triple H, Booker T, Chris Jericho, Kane, and Rob Van Dam in the match. WWE World Heavyweight Championship was on the line for this match.

2- Triple H

The Game Triple H won his first ever Elimination Chamber match in SummerSlam 2003. He defeated Goldberg, Chris Jericho, Shawn Michaels, Kevin Nash, and Randy Orton. This match was again for WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

3- Triple H

Triple H won back to back Elimination Chamber matches. In the New Years Revolution 2005 pay-per-view, Triple H defeated Batista, Chris Benoit, Edge, Chris Jericho, and Randy Orton and become new World Heavyweight champion.

4- John Cena

John Cena defeated Kurt Angle, Carlito, Chris Masters, Shawn Michaels, and Kane in the New Years Revolution pay-per-view in 2006. In this match, Cena retained his WWE Championship. However, Edge cashed his Money In the Bank contract just after the match to win the WWE Championship from John Cena.

5- Bobby Lashley

In December to Dismember 2006 pay-per-view, Bobby Lashley won the match and ECW Championship with this match. He defeated Big Show, Hardcore Holly, CM Punk, Test and Rob Van Dam. Before the introduction of WWE Network, this PPV was remembered for the one of the lowest buyrate pay-per-view of all time.

6- The Undertaker

The Deadman defeated Batista, Big Daddy V, Finlay, The Great Khali, and MVP to become #1 contender for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania XXIV. This match was happened at No Way Out 2008.

7- Triple H

Triple H won his third Elimination Chamber match in the same show No Way Out 2008. He defeated Chris Jericho, Jeff Hardy,  JBL, Shawn Michaels and Umaga to become # 1 contender for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania XXIV.

8- Triple H

If any list ever made for the greatest Elimination Chamber winners, Triple H always made #1 in the list. He won his fourth chamber match at No Way Out 2009 for the WWE Championship. He defeated The Undertaker, Edge, Big Show, Jeff Hardy, and Vladimir Kozlov in the match.

9- Edge

In the same No Way Out 2009 pay-per-view, Edge defeated John Cena, Chris Jericho, Kane, Mike Knox, and Rey Mysterio to win his first ever chamber match. This match was for World Heavyweight Championship.

10- John Cena

After Triple H, John Cena became the second WWE wrestler to win multiple chamber matches when he won the match in 2010 in first-ever Elimination Chamber pay-per-view. The match was for the WWE Championship. He defeated Sheamus, Triple H, Randy Orton, Ted DiBiase, and Kofi Kingston in the match.

11- Chris Jericho

Chris Jericho marked his first win in this type of match when he defeated The Undertaker, R-Truth, John Morrison, Rey Mysterio, and CM Punk in the same pay-per-view Elimination Chamber 2010. At that time he became 7th ever wrestler to win this format of matches.

12- Edge

Edge marked his second Elimination Chamber match victory against Drew McIntyre, Wade Barrett, Rey Mysterio, Kane, and Big Show in Elimination Chamber 2011. This match was for World Heavyweight Championship.

13- John Cena

In the main event of Elimination Chamber 2011, John Cena defeated Randy Orton, Sheamus, CM Punk, John Morrison, and R-Truth for the WWE championship. This marked as Cena’s third victory in this format of matches.

14- CM Punk

The ultra-popular CM Punk won his first Elimination Chamber match in Elimination Chamber 2012 pay-per-view. He joined the list of all Elimination Chamber winners when he defeated Kofi Kingston, The Miz, Dolph Ziggler, Chris Jericho, and R-Truth for WWE Championship.

15- Daniel Bryan

Daniel Bryan successfully defended his World Heavyweight Championship in Elimination Chamber 2012 pay-per-view. He defeated Wade Barrett, Big Show, Cody Rhodes, Santino Marella, and The Great Khali in the match.

16- Jack Swagger

In Elimination Chamber 2013, Jack Swagger defeated Chris Jericho, Daniel Bryan, Kane, Randy Orton, and  Mark Henry to become #1 contender for World Heavyweight Championship match at Wrestlemania  29.

17- Randy Orton

Randy Orton got his first taste of victory in these format of matches when he successfully retained his WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Sheamus, Daniel Bryan, Cesaro, John Cena, and Christian in Elimination Chamber 2014. Randy Orton was corporate champion at that time working with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon.

18- The New Day

The first ever Elimination chamber tag team match happened in Elimination Chamber 2015. The New Day defeated The Lucha Dragons, Tyson Kidd and Cesaro, The Ascension, The Prime Time Players, and Los Matadores for WWE Tag Team Championships.

19- Ryback

Elimination Chamber 2015 was memorable because it was the first time when Tag team and Intercontinental championships were defended in chamber matches. Ryback defeated Sheamus, R-Truth, Wade Barrett, Dolph Ziggler, and Mark Henry for WWE Intercontinental Championship.

20- Bray Wyatt

John Cena won WWE Championship from AJ Styles in Royal Rumble 2017. However, in less than a month he defended the title in Elimination Chamber match in Elimination Chamber 2017.  Bray Wyatt marked his first entry and also first victory in chamber structures when he defeated John Cena, AJ Styles, The Miz, Baron Corbin, and Dean Ambrose for WWE Championship.

21- Alexa Bliss

The first ever women Elimination Chamber match happened in Elimination Chamber 2018 pay-per-view. Alexa Bliss became first ever women to join list of  Elimination Chamber winners. She defeated Bayley, Sasha Banks, Mickie James, Sonya Deville, and Mandy Rose in the match for RAW Women’s Championship.

22- Roman Reigns

In the same show Elimination Chamber 2018, Roman Reigns defeated Seth Rollins, Braun Strowman, Finn Bálor, John Cena, Elias, and The Miz to become #1 contender for Universal Championship at Wrestlemania 34. He then went to the main event of Wrestlemania 34 against Brock Lesnar.

23- Sasha Banks and Bayley

Sasha Banks and Bayley became the first ever WWE Women’s Tag Team champions in Elimination Chamber 2019. This match had many big spots from all the participates. The year-long story between Sasha Banks and Bayley finally paid off by winning tag team titles.

24- Daniel Bryan

Daniel Bryan retained his WWE Championship at Elimination Chamber 2019, in the best match of the night. The match was always remembered for the performance of Kofi Kingston. He wrestled more than an hour after entering first from the podium and eliminated in the last.

25- The Miz and John Morrison

At Elimination Chamber 2020, arguably it was the best match of the night. In this match, SmackDown Tag Team Champions The Miz and John Morrison defeated The Usos, The New Day, Lucha House Party, Heavy Machinery and Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode to retain the titles.

26- Shayna Bazler

On the same event Elimination Chamber 2020, even before the match began Shayna Bazler was most favorite to win this contest. She defeated Sarah Logan, Ruby Riott, Natalya, Liv Morgan, and Asuka to earn a shot at Becky Lynch’s Raw Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 36.

27 – Daniel Bryan

At Elimination Chamber 2021, first chamber match was to get immediate WWE Universal Championship shot. Daniel Bryan defeated Cesaro, Jey Uso, Kevin Owens, King Corbin, and Sami Zayn. All participants were from Smackdown.

28 – Drew McIntyre

Second chamber match for 2021 edition was for WWE Championship where Drew McIntyre(c) defeated AJ Styles (with Omos), Jeff Hardy, Kofi Kingston, Randy Orton, and Sheamus. All participants were from RAW brand.

29 – Bianca Belair

Elimination Chamber 2022 was first ever chamber match held outside United States. It was live from Jeddah Super Dome in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Bianca Belair defeated Alexa Bliss, Doudrop, Liv Morgan, Nikki A.S.H., and Rhea Ripley to get a WWE Raw Women’s Championship match at WrestleMania 38.

30 – Brock Lesnar

Second match of the night was for WWE Championship where Brock Lesnar defeated Bobby Lashley (c), AJ Styles, Austin Theory, Riddle, and Seth “Freakin” Rollins. Bobby Lashley lose the title due to real injury.
