In IPL 2019 auction total 60 players were picked up for the available 70 slots. It took place in Jaipur where some of the big names like Yuvraj Singh and Martin Guptill were unsold at first round. They were acquired by teams at last minutes. Players like Hashim Amla, Jason Holder, Manoj Tiwary were unsold in the end.
Jaydev Unadkat and Varun Chakravarthy were the most expensive players bought by Rajasthan Royals and Kings XI Punjab on 8.4 crores Indian rupees. Varun Chakravarthy became the most expensive uncapped player in IPL 2019.

To the last call, Hugh Edmeades, the IPL Auctioneer made the deal for Riyan Parag. Rajasthan Royals got him at the base price of INR 20 lakhs. 80 players were unsold in total at the end of the day.
