Indian tour of West Indies why 3 new Indies players selected

Indian tour of West Indies cricket is not going well. The team had already lost the first test and now will struggle in One Day series as well. Chris Gayle is not selected in the One Day team because of his other commitments and West Indies cricket board selected three new players for the Indian tour.

Chief selector of West Indies Cricket Board Courtney Brown said, “Chris Gayle will not play in Indian and Bangladesh tours but will available for series against England and next year’s world cup.”

Let’s take a look at new players coming in Indian tour of West Indies.

#1 Chandrapaul Hemraj

He is a Guyanese cricketer and a left-handed batsman. He has represented West Indies on under 19 level and got an opportunity to highlight in the world cricket. Indies batsmen are struggling in this tour and Hemraj could improve batting line up.

#2 Fabian Allen

Allen is a Jamaican cricketer and a good all rounder player. He has played for West Indies B Team in June 2018 and will debut in International cricket with Indian series.  West Indies needs strong all-rounder player in the team and he could play a smart role in this.

#3 Oshane Thomas

Thomas is a Jamaican bowler and Indies team needs new strength from the bowling side.  Bowling side is weak and with the introduction of fresh blood can improve Indies bowling performance. Thomas will also debut in Internation cricket with this series.
