Four TOP NXT stars debuted on WWE Raw

NXT stars Johnny Gargano, Tommaso Ciampa, Ricochet, and Aleister Black all debuted on last night’s WWE Monday Night Raw. They knocked out many established stars from the main roster.

Interestingly, Tommaso Ciampa is the current NXT Champion and Johnny Gargano is the current North American Champion. More interestingly, Ciampa and Gargano defeated The Revival the current Raw Tag Team Champions. WWE’s Ricochet and Aleister Black also debuted and wrestled on Raw.

What happened on WWE Raw?

In the show-opening promo, Triple H announced the first inductee into WWE Hall of Famer 2019, The DX. After that, he announced the arrival of four NXT stars in RAW. He ran through the names one by one and Michael Cole gave a brief introduction on the commentary of each superstar.

Ricochet Raw debut

Ricochet came first. He saved Finn Balor from a beatdown at Lio Rush and Bobby Lashley’s hands. After that, Ricochet teamed up with Balor against Lashley and Rush. He won the match by pinning Rush with his 630 Splash. It looked like WWE is planning multi-man Intercontinental championship match at WrestleMania 35 including these four superstars.

Ciampa and Gargano Raw debut

Gargano and Ciampa were the biggest winners of the night. They beat Raw Tag Team Champions The Revival in a classic Raw match. If their debut is permanent on Raw despite they are current NXT champion and North American champion then Raw will absolutely get strong tag teams strength. WWE could go with Interbrand feuds like what happened between John Cena and Kevin Owens a couple of years ago.

Aleister Black Raw debut

Aleister Black interrupted Elias during his another concert on Raw. He challenged him a match and defeated in a two minutes squash. Black’s debut was the only squash match while other NXT stars gave classic match on the night.

Now the big questions are all these call-ups were permanent or just one-off for some time.

We will get answers in the coming weeks. Follow SportsWhy – WWE for more updates.
